Peach Pepper Jelly Julep

For whatever reason mint julep’s had been on my mind, but to tell you the truth I don’t like them that much. They’re just ok as far as cocktails go.

• 2oz Bourbon
• 1/2oz Maple syrup
• 1 TBSP Spicy pepper jelly
• 6 slices fresh peach
• Several Sprigs of Mint

Muddle most of the peach slices in a mixing glass with the maple syrup, jelly and most of the mint. Add the bourbon and stir. Then add some ice and let it chill for a bit. Strain into a tumbler and serve up. Garnish with a slice of peach and a sprig of mint.
